Things To Do

Palm Springs holds a special place in our hearts - it’s Michael’s hometown and where we’ve made so many unforgettable memories together. We’re excited to share some of our favorite spots and activities in one of our favorite cities.

El Paseo Shopping District

This is the main shopping and dining area in Palm Desert. Some of our favorite restaurants include: Tommy Bahama, Wilma & Frieda's Cafe, The Daily Grill, The Fix, and Thai Smile.

Downtown Palm Springs

Another great area for shopping, grabbing a drink, or dining. We recommend the following restaurants: Pomme Frites, Las Casuelas, Tropicale, The Heyday, and Tyler's Burgers.

Bump And Grind Hiking Trail

This is every local's (and Michael and Julie's) favorite hike! It's a moderate hike that takes about 2 hours up and down. We recommend starting at the trailhead next to the Mor Furniture for Less, but all trailheads lead to the same peak (the others just take a little longer).

Palm Desert Cross Hiking Trail

A quick and easy ~1 hour hike loop ending at the top of a mountain with great views of the city.

Red Jeep Tour

A Red Jeep Tour is a great way to learn more about the San Andreas Fault line and desert landscape. A fun, engaging, and educational activity!
