We first met at work after I had moved to Leesville following my deployment. LJ and I started hanging out after work with our co-workers. Then we started hanging out more with just each other. On November 13th (right at midnight), after we had been hanging out at a friends house, LJ dropped me off at my place. We sat on his tailgate for a while talking and looked at stars. That was that, we started dating. :)

We went to sit with LJ's sisters at their house. Just before we got to the door, he handed me a little bag that had gold paper sticking out of it. We sat down with the girls while I opened it. Inside was a little white box that had my ring in it! Kristin yelled from the kitchen, "It's about time!" when I was showing it to everyone. Hahaha! <3
