SFO or SJC
SFO (San Francisco International Airport) has the most amount of flights and tends to be the least expensive option. SJC (Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport) is closer and has easier security lines as it is a bit smaller.

Santa Cruz is a beach vacation town so we would recommend checking out Airbnb/VRBO first for some fun, mid-range options! Lots of cute vacation bungalows in the area with bikes and boards to use free of charge. Stay in Seabright, Twin Lakes, Live Oak, or the West Side neighborhood to be near the action. But near Felton or Pleasure Point is a further but still fun option. Shoot us a message if you have q's!

Here is a list of close hotel options in town if you want to go that route: Beach Street Inn & Suites - Next to the boardwalk, beach, and walking distance to downtown. Carousel Inn - Right across from the boardwalk and has good reviews. Boardwalk shuts down by 10! Paradox Hotel - Near downtown where the reception will be but a bit more luxe.
