Nope! While gator to human interactions have been rare within Hilton Head's history, there are still an abundance of gators on the island that demand caution. Please maintain your distance and respect the gators. It is illegal to feed the gators and we highly recommend pets and small children away from the ponds and creeks.

The ceremony and the reception are located within a short walk of each other. Limited transportation will be available for those needing assistance.
Yes! Guests are not allowed to leave their cars at the venue overnight. There will be a guest list provided to the gate attendant of Sea Pines to allow all guests through the gate for the wedding. If you are staying in Sea Pines, your lodging will arrange a guest pass for you for the duration of your stay.
Sea Pines is a gated community, and there is a daily entrance fee for visitors staying outside of Sea Pines. If you make lodging arrangements within Sea Pines, you will not be charged this fee, and you will be sent information regarding entrance/passes from the company you booked through. For anyone staying outside of Sea Pines, a guest list will be provided to the gate attendants on the day of the wedding so you will not be charged an entrance fee this day. Simply state your first & last name and that you are a guest of the Thumel/Kilyk wedding.
We encourage you to make this a weekend getaway with your family! However, our wedding day is an adult only occasion. As much as we love your little ones, we want to this to be your night off to let your hair down! Hilton Head Nannies is a top childcare option in the HHI area if needed for the wedding and reception. https://www.hiltonheadnannies.com/
