How's the weather?

Answer

San Francisco can get quite chilly at night and weather is unpredictable. Hoping for nice weather but a coat is recommended

Are kids welcomed at the wedding?

Answer

Of course! But we prefer you get a sitter so you can enjoy the night stress free! If you can't, no worries. Bring them along! Please be clear on your RSVPs how many people are planning to attend, so we can get an accurate head count. The venue is strict about this.

How is the traffic?

Horrible. Please leave early and prepare for extra time when traveling from Hotels to Venue or anywhere within SF

parking?

Answer

As I recall, there is no parking lot at the church. If driving you will have to park on the street. I will upload photos of the church and reception venue in our photos section of the website. So you know what to look for. I recommend Uber, lyft, or carpooling. Stern grove has a small parking lot right across from the clubhouse. But it is open to public so like stated above, I recommend Uber, lift or carpooling. If the lot if full, you can try the lot down further in the stern grove park, which will require a several minute walk to the reception. Pictures of the park entrance will be posted in the photos section. Recommended Entrance to the Stern grove park is located on 19th and SLOAT. When you enter drive in and you will see a yellow house to the right which will be the clubhouse, parking is to the left if you drive a a bit further in. A picture of the entrance and the yellow house will be posted in the photos section.

Smoking at the venue??

Answer

Not allowed, please take a walk away from the clubhouse and nearby surrounding area or hide somewhere if you absolutely need to do any smoking whatsoever. The venue will not give me my deposit back if anyone is caught smoking or if cigarette butts are found. If you get caught because you decided to be rebels, maybe don’t claim to be part of our wedding group if asked? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also with all the wild fires going on... just be careful Thanks!

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

Mexican! My favorite! The menu has some good gluten free or vegetarian options as well. During cocktail hour there may be some Vietnamese finger foods.

RSVP

Answer

If the online RSVP doesn’t show your name. Please send the pre-stamp post card back. Or you may text me your names number of people attending. And please let me know if you can’t make it. If you don’t RSVP I am assuming that you will not be there and you won’t be accounted for and will be denied entrance. My phone number is listed at the top of the page. You must RSVP. The venue has tight rules on guest count due to fire code. And will call off the event with no return on money paid. The capacity is not very large. We wanted it to be a small and intimate wedding. So it’s crucial we know who will be there or not. Thanks
