At first sight, Julie was captivated by Jason's charming smile, quick wit, calm demeanor, and kind heart, which always made her feel safe in his presence. Similarly, Jason found himself drawn to Julie's vibrant personality, intelligence, and the delightful humor that never failed to make him laugh. For those who are unfamiliar with our journey, it began in 1986. Growing up in the same neighborhood and attending grade school together, we often found ourselves walking each other home after school. The 80s, though challenging, were filled with fond memories of coming of age. Despite the difficulties we faced and our youthful immaturity, we struggled to express our feelings for each other openly. Looking back, we realize that our love story was guided by a higher power, unfolding exactly as it was meant to be. Despite being separated by time and distance for over 25 years, fate intervened in 2019 when Jason visited Julie. From that moment on, Julie knew she never wanted him to leave. The undeniable chemistry between them was matched only by the profound comfort they felt in each other's presence. With gratitude in their hearts, they embraced the blessing of being together. Over the past five years, we have grown as partners in life, building a relationship founded on trust, admiration, and laughter. We often remind each other that we are not just lovers but also best friends, and there is no one else we would rather spend our time with. Even amidst chaos, turmoil, and discord in the world around us, our sanctuary remains with each other. It is for this reason that we have committed to spending the second and final phase of our lives together.
