Updated date and location due to COVID19 postponement!

Our story is a different one. Our mutual addiction to phone game apps is what started our friendship. Sometime in 2017 I got a request for a new game in the game app Yahtzee with Buddies. It was very normal. In the game that's how new games are started. Its generally very random. Two strangers playing game after game without much thought of who it was or where the other person was located. After quite a few games I got a message from this other player with a motorcycle model number as his username along with a profile pic of an adorable yellow lab puppy. Of course, the puppy got me! That's all I needed to start chatting with this random stranger from Northern Ireland. It was mostly game trash talk and lame weather chitchat for quite a while. Quickly though, we became fast friends. We had a love of dogs, 80s music, desserts, crafting and of course playing games on our phones. I began to learn of his country - including finding out it was part of the United Kingdom - and his love of motorcycles as well as his daily life. Together we had played hundreds of games of Yahtzee. But both our family lives were going through difficult times and friends from across the pond were the last things on our minds. After major changes in both our lives, eventually things made sense and our love became obvious. We often wondered how it was possible to fall for someone you've never met. Doesn't that only happen in movies? Finally in September 2018, Glenn made the gamble to take 3 months of his life and travel to meet and stay with me and my boys. Although we'd never met in person, by this time had talked nonstop for a year - even missing hours of sleep due to the 7 hour time difference. There was nothing left but to test the chemistry. Arriving from Belfast Northern Ireland in Salt Lake City Utah USA late at night we embraced for the first time. There was zero weirdness. It's as if he had simply come home from vacation. Keaton and Cooper fell instantly in love and vice versa...and the rest has continued on in the same fashion.

Well everyone Julie has already explained our story, much better than I could. I enjoyed learning about her life, family and interests. In September 2018, I after 2 flights arrived in Dallas, I waited for an eternity to clear customs, The agent who dealt with me wanted to know where I was staying etc, I explained that I was staying with my girlfriend. He asked how we met, and following my explanation his response was ' seriously! you have never met this person?' I explained the calls, Skype, video chats etc, I watched as his head was shaking in disbelief. Then he laughed a little stamped my passport and said good luck!! As Julie said as we embraced for the first time it just felt as if we had always been together, like I was just home from vacation!! I instantly fell in love with them all, not forgetting the three Furbabies too . And the rest is history!!! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Julie and our 'wee' family.
