Arrival to India

Comfy , compression socks , hydrate , mask .

Depending on arrival date. Once rsvp and sent over flight details , we will arrange pick up with other guest . The New Delhi airport is 6 hours away . Alternatively flights can be booked to Amritsar Airport which will shorten the drive time. ATM at airport , fast food chains located in Ludhiana . Arrival to hotels . WiFi is available at New Delhi airport (free) in all terminals . Once landing a sim/e-sim is recommended . The driver will have your flight details to know when your arrive and we’ll be in contact. Please if you reserve let us know and if you have any other inquiries or recommended hotels . These two hotels should fit all guest invited . Travel tab will have Bus pick company once arranged.

Christian Ceremony

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

First ceremony is formal wear as Christian Ceremony

Have fun and wear your best color! This event will be Vows , prayers and a wedding reception .

Haldi + Henna

10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Formal Dresses Indian style required , Sarees, Lehenga and Punjabi Suits . Yellow preferably if not Bright colors .

First event is Haldi preparation ceremony, usually the day before the main wedding, and is usually at the couple's parental home. It involves rubbing turmeric (haldi), mixed in oil and water, to the body. Will end around 3pm . Then in the evening is our Henna placements . Last longer and darker once the sun is down . There will be drinks , snacks , food .

Lady Sangeet + Groom Jaggo

8:00 pm - 11:45 pm

For women - Sarees , Indian Dresses and suit . For men - kurta and slacks, a modern suit, or a traditional Hindu suit .

This is an Indian style bachelorette/ bachelors for dancing and partying all night long ! This will give you a free morning to get ready , rest and or shop . Hotel provides free breakfast and has a restaurant in house for any food before event . This event includes family traditions and pass down prayers and blessing towards our big day . Jokes , pranks and all fun ! Lots of walking , partying and moving so bring your dancing shoes . Each family has different traditions for these events but looking up Punjabi Hindu Lady Sangeet and Grooms Jaggo . Will give you an idea .

Julie & Gaurav Hindu Wedding

6:00 pm - 11:45 pm

Women wedding Saree’s, Lehenga . Avoid color burgundy . Men - choices like a sherwani jodhpuri bandhgala suit or a kurta pajama paired with a jacket. Avoid Cream .

This is the Big day ! Becoming the Sharma’s ! Incorporating traditional Punjabi Hindu traditions and my family . Sitting along the isles and Gaurav’s entry on a horse (Baraat) with a youngest family member . Than start my walk ( Kanya aagmanin) with a veil like tarp over me held by my brothers . Walking down the aisle , first look and rituals begin on the stage(Mandap) . As various religious Varmala ,Hastamelap/kanyadan - giving away the bride, Jaimala ceremony , Ganesh Puja, Saptapadi,Mangal Fera ,Mangalsutra - sacred necklace , and finally Tilak ( a bindi) for now wedded tradition . These events and their meaning will be explained . Highlights - Saptapadi ceremony [The couple will take 7 full circles around the fire , which represents the promises and principles they make to one another . ]Wedding us . At the end will do Christian traditions by throwing a bouquet! In secret performing a first kiss and the first dance .Images provided in gallery of each event and attire.

Seeing the sights before your flight back home

Nov 10 to Golden Temple ,Nov 11 travel (9hrs) to Agra will take breaks then to see Taj Mahal on Nov 12. Nov 12-13 in New Delhi for visiting and for airport drop offs . If continuing tour with us . Nov 14- Train from New Delhi to Jaipur ( Pink city ) . Jaipur stay Nov 14-17. Tour ended and we Will travel back to his hometown . If flights from Jaipur will arrange drop or train back to New Delhi . Depending on flights will will arrange
