On August 15, 2021, at 10:11 a.m., I met Freddy at Ellies Restaurant while having breakfast with my close friend, Danielle. After a brief exchange that included Freddy, Danielle, and Freddy’s dad, we ended up exchanging phone numbers. How could I resist? I was captivated by this vibrant, handsome man in a bright orange neon shirt. Just a few days later, Freddy and I went on our first date, and it turned into one of the most memorable days of our lives.
