Unless a guest is explicitly mentioned in your invitation, we unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests due to size of the reception hall. We appreciate you understanding and are excited to celebrate with you!
The ceremony will start promptly at 2:00 pm. Please aim to arrive no later than 1:45 pm before the ceremony begins to allow for seating and getting settled. We also recommend considering traffic and travel time to ensure you don't miss any part of the celebration. We look forward to seeing you there!
There is a large lot directly next to Saint Francis Xavier church which is free for our wedding guests. Once you have parked, walk to the pay kiosk in the middle of the parking lot and mention you are here for the Gavigan/Buttelwerth wedding. They will give you a ticket to place on your dashboard. For the reception and events at Hotel Covington, there is a parking garage connected to Hotel Covington, which is across the street from the reception hall, The Madison. There is also valet parking at Hotel Covington and metered street parking around the reception hall.
Please note that transportation between the hotel, church or venue will not be provided. For those who need it, Uber and Lyft are convenient options!
There will be an approximate 2 hour gap between the ceremony and reception. The wedding party will be visiting bars around downtown. Feel free to join the wedding party, venture out on your own, or rest and enjoy a drink/snack back at Hotel Covington, which is right next door to the reception hall.
Yes! We will have an open bar, so feel free to raise a glass and celebrate with us throughout the evening.
While we love your kiddos, this is an adults only reception, unless explicitly stated on your invitation.
No. There are multiple hotels, all varying in price, within the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area you can also choose from, as well as Air BnBs if you'd like. The discounted room block only applies to Hotel Covington.
