Is there a dress code?

Black Tie Optional/Formal We would love for you to be as dolled up as you would like! Gowns and tuxes are welcome (and encouraged!) for those who have them, otherwise formal attire.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have arranged for a block of rooms at the Claridge House in Chicago. This hotel is centrally located to the church and the reception (also right next to the bride and groom's condo!). Please book your room by October 10th to receive the special rate. There will be a shuttle to the church and from the venue on Saturday. Visit the "Travel" section of our website for more information.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:15. The shuttle to the church will be leaving the Claridge House promptly at 3pm to ensure timeliness.

How do I get to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

If you choose to drive, there is free parking across the street from Holy Name Cathedral with ticket validation in the main vestibule. At the reception, there is only street parking, which is hard to find. Paid lots are available but are a walk away. As a result...we will have shuttles for you so just sit back and relax and be ready for a good time! The shuttle from the Claridge House to Holy Name will leave at 3pm for the ceremony. From the ceremony, the shuttle will leave at 4:45pm to Cafe Brauer for the cocktail hour. After the wedding, there will be three shuttle times (based on needs) to Claridge House: 9:30pm, 10:30pm, and 11:30pm.

We do love your little ones, but we've decided to have an adults only wedding. We are excited to celebrate with you and hope you enjoy a parents night out!

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation as we would like to keep this an intimate event. We appreciate your understanding!
