I feel like you all know the story by now. Long story simple, we met through mutual friends. If you want the long story, then feel free to keep reading. Our dearest friends, Emma and Kyle, were getting married May 2023. They both asked us to be in their weddings as the maid of honor and as a groomsman. Although we both went to Ball State, and our friends met during that time, we never crossed paths. In April 2023, Kyle and Emma had a combined bach trip, where we all hung out with each other. This was the first time we met, but didn't really talk much. The next time we saw each other wasn't until the day before the wedding, for the rehearsal dinner. We coincidently arrived to the venue at the same time, and also so happened to walk into the wrong church together. As we walked into an empty church, we both realized the mistake we had made. Corbin made a joke, and Julie laughed, a moment we think every now and then. Although we we saw each other throughout the wedding weekend, we didn't interact very often with one another. After the wedding, two of our other friends began dating, and through them, is when we both had realized that we may have thought the other as cute. After a few months of Kyle and Emma being married, they had a group hang out, where we were able to enjoy one another's company. After the event ended. Corbin asked Julie to go on a date, to which she agreed. Over the courses of the following months, we began seeing one another frequently, experiencing parts of life together. We started traveling together where we adventured to French Lick, Indiana; traveling to Montana; and all the way up to Traverse City, Michigan. Some of our more local adventures include walking the full Monon Trail in segments, frequenting local estate sales, and visiting our surrounding cafes. In April 2025, Corbin told Julie we had dinner reservations on a random Wednesday. I think we all know where this is going... Corbin had it all planned out. We would eat dinner, grab some ice cream, and head over to Ritchey Woods in Fishers, Indiana. Corbin had spent hours trying to find the place to propose. He went to multiple locations, trying to find the perfect spot. Once we got to Ritchey Woods, we took a small walk down a trail, where Corbin stopped us on a bridge. This was the moment he proposed. Now, just over a year later, we are celebrating our wedding, hoping all our friends and family are there to spend the day with us.
