We're Getting Married!

Just swipe right..... Drawn by their curiosity of how each other knew a mutual friend on the dating app, Tinder, Conner and Julie began messaging each other on a Sunday night in January 2014. Shortly after identifying a mutual love for Mexican cuisine, they settled on a first date at Mamacita in the Marina District. What started as a fondness of margaritas for Conner and an obsession for all things avocado by Julie, they soon realized how compatible they were (along with some bizarre coincidences) and the rest is history. Bizarre Coincidences: - Conner and Julie's dad are both Computer Science majors from USF; they even had the same professor for one of their classes! - Conner's parents and Julie's mom lived in the same apartment building in the North Beach neighborhood in San Francisco (albeit not at the same time). - Conner and Julie's birthdays are one day apart (February 5 and 6 respectively). - Conner went to high school with a guy who Julie met while traveling as part of a tour group in Greece.

Conner and Julie embarked on the trip of a lifetime to Thailand and Taiwan. They had a fantastic time exploring the various culinary dishes of Bangkok, playing with rescued baby elephants in Chiang Mai, and snorkeling in the waters of Koh Samui. They enjoyed a brief layover in Taipei before heading back home to San Francisco. Julie's grandma always told her to get jewelry on each trip she took as a memento, and this trip was no different. Conner and Julie arrived in Koh Samui on Wednesday, July 5, and Conner surprised Julie with a sunset cruise during which he popped the question (minutes later there was a lightening and thunderstorm). They're beyond excited and can't wait to celebrate with everyone.
