What is the dress code?
Answer
Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire! We suggest cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits (tie optional), sports jackets, slacks, and dress shirts. Our reception will take place on the lawn – please bear this in mind when choosing footwear and dress comfortably! The temperature will drop once the sun goes down, so we recommend bringing a light layer for the evening time.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
Answer
Yes! Guests may park for free at Skamania.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Answer
Sure have! Please visit the “Lodging & Travel” tab to see options.
Question
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?
Answer
There will not be a shuttle. However, if you stay at Skamania, you will be onsite for all the wedding activities.
Question
What time will your wedding reception end?
Answer
The final song of the evening will be played at 9:55pm.

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
We love your kids! Unfortunately, we cannot host children at our wedding due to space restrictions. We have made exceptions for a few direct family members – we appreciate your understanding!
Question
The wedding is on a Friday. What’s going on Saturday?
Answer
We are staying at Skamania until Sunday, August 20th. While we don’t have any official plans for Saturday as of now, we would love to hang out with you at Skamania or in Hood River. More details to come later!
