On the way to fourth-period class, a tall, handsome football player caught Julie’s eye. She turned to her friend and asked, “Who is that?” Her friend replied, “That’s Andrew Heydt.” Neither of them realized at the time just how significant this moment would be. Something brought Julie and Andrew together in that hallway at that exact time and day, setting in motion a chain of events that would change the course of their lives forever.

As Julie and Andrew walked hand in hand along the LBI shore, the sun began to set, filling the air with a mix of excitement and anticipation. Suddenly, Andrew knelt down on one knee, his voice sincere, carrying the weight of the question he was about to ask. “I’ve asked you this a thousand times, but I am going to ask you one more time, for real… Will you marry me?” With her heart pounding, Julie couldn’t contain her happiness and exclaimed, “Yes!” On June 29th, 2023, they began a new chapter of their journey as the future Mr. and Mrs. Heydt.
