Dear family and good friends, We have our fingers firmly crossed for Julie and Alec! Under the circumstances, however, we can't rely entirely on hope (or even crossed toes). Like you, we are watching the current pandemic closely and we are paying very close attention to our Pennsylvania restrictions and regulations. As we plan for a ceremony and celebration for the Wojacks-to-be, our first priority is health and safety. We are exploring several options including an outdoor location at Chester Valley Golf Club (our venue) - and also hoping for a major change in the pandemic trajectory. However, we fear we will be living with major uncertainty until very close in time to the wedding, perhaps even as late as early April. Beginning now, we will do all we can to keep you up to date with our plans.
We strongly want to avoid "disinviting" anyone for any reason. And both Julie and Alec have large extended families. Therefore, invitations will be sent in stages beginning with immediate family and bridal party. As we learn more about our guests' plans and also gain confidence in our allowable attendance projections, we will send more invitations. This is obviously difficult but we hope you will understand and accept that we dearly hope to be able to invite all of you.
If you cannot attend or do not feel comfortable attending given pandemic considerations, we fully understand and appreciate your letting us know as soon as possible.
No doubt some (many, we hope) of our guests will have been fully vaccinated by late April. For everyone's comfort and safety, we nonetheless will ask all guests to follow applicable masking guidelines whether or not they have received vaccines.
