Things to do…. Best of Tacoma!

To our guests traveling in from out of town, thank you so much for making the trip! We so appreciate you going the extra miles to be a part of our special day. We hope that if you’re able, you can enjoy a bit of what Tacoma has to offer while you’re in town! Here are a few of our local favorites:

Tacoma Art Museum

1701 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98402

Wonderful exhibits (yes, some Chihuly too) and great size for 1-2 hour visit.

Point Ruston

5020 Main Street, Tacoma, WA 98407

Waterfront walk with lots of restaurants and wonderful views. Site of our first date!

Point Defiance Park

5400 North Pearl Street, Tacoma, WA 98407

Huge park with lots of walking/hiking trails, beaches, gardens and more. There’s even a zoo!

Museum of Glass

1801 Dock Street, Tacoma, WA 98402

Perfect place to spend an afternoon, a celebration of incredible artwork!

King's Books

218 Saint Helens Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98402

Homey local bookshop, great stop for just a browse or if you want to pick up a title or two or twelve.

McMenamins The Old Hangout

565 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98402

I (Julie) love this basement Tiki bar!!!! Mai Tais are huge and the food is great, fun spot to escape rain and PNW drear if you can’t leave town.

Wooden City Tacoma

714 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98402

One of my favorite restaurants in Tacoma! I love their old fashioneds on tap as well as their burgers (get them fancy style, you won’t regret it) and pizza.

Titlow Beach

1420 South Wilton Road, Tacoma, WA 98465

I fall more in love with Tacoma every time I go to this beach!

For all the days along the way
