We're so excited to see our friends & family from outside of Washington! There are tons of fun things to do around Wenatchee & the surrounding area! Below are some suggestions if you're staying for a few days and looking for recommendations of things to do.

Highly recommend visiting here, the lake is gorgeous and there is hiking, swimming, fishing & water equipment rentals. We also have a couple kayaks if anyone is interested in using for the day.

Public market with wine tasting, restaurants & shopping in Wenatchee. Their summer hours are 8 am to 10 pm.

Leavenworth

Leavenworth is a cute Bavarian town with mountain views included! It's about 30 minutes from Wenatchee and has several restaurants, shops, bars and activities for kids. We'd recommend giving Larch Handcrafted Pasta a try (some of the best ravioli we've ever had)!

The Confluence State Park is a public recreation area with a beach for swimming & fishing. They also have basketball & tennis courts as well as a kids playground.

Hiking trail, rated as Moderate on AllTrails with 1000 feet of elevation gain. We also have a few sets of trekking poles & hydration backpacks if anyone wants to use.

We went here our first time staying in the Wenatchee/Chelan area. The view is gorgeous! It is rated as moderately challenging on all trails, and is a bit steep in some areas (you'd want good shoes).

There are tons of wineries to try around the area! Icicle Ridge has locations in Peshastin & Leavenworth, but there are also several options around for tastings.

We came here when staying by Lake Chelan. It's a small little beach area with swimming & fishing. The view is pretty and it's much less crowded than some other beach access points!
