Georgia Peach World - about 20 minutes north of Darien - MUST try the peach ice cream and the peach lemonade!!
Depending on where you stay St. Simons Island (East beach & Massengale Beach) & Jekyll Island (Driftwood & Oceanview Beach Park) beaches are about 30 minutes away.
If you're looking to get out on the water, there are several local companies that offer private boat charters, fishing charters and sunset cruises. Many of the companies offer half day excursions.
For those interested in golf, the Golden Isles offers excellent golf courses with stunning views. There are too many to choose from but Sea Palms Resort, The King & Prince Golf club, and Jekyll Island golf club appear to be the best. Just remember to have an early tee time to make it to the wedding on time :)
