Jordan and I met at the Washington Monument; it's the center of the national mall and a great place to walk around.

Such a fun place with little shops and eateries! Family and dog friendly. Also great on a rainy day!

Beautiful outdoor space right on the water with tons of shops and restaurants. Great place to get brunch or a drink!

The Wharf DC

Great place to spend an afternoon if you want to get out of the city but not go too far! There is a fun hike called the Billy Goat Trail, or you can just walk along the quick path to see the beautiful waterfalls.

Great Falls Park

A national park in DC that is home to the lily pad gardens.

Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens

Expansive gardens, a wonderful place to walk around on a nice day. If you're lucky you may catch a glimpse of the bald eagle's nest!
