No! Smoking is prohibited within 25 feet outside of the barn and within the barn including restrooms and suites. Any cigarette butts found after the event, or if smoking occurs indoors, will result in loss of the bride and grooms Security Deposit.
Yes! There will be an open bar available for the evening to get alcohol from. There is a strict rule at the venue for NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL. If alcohol is brought onto the premises, the bride and groom will lose their security deposit. Please respect this rule and enjoy drinks from the bar on us for the night.
Yes! The dress code is semi formal attire, no jeans please!
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones be put away and turned off/silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone blocking that moment for our photographer to capture. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want!
Yes, there will be a shuttle running to and from the Blue Chip Casino Hotel to the venue throughout the night. The shuttle time details are below. Please utilize the shuttle service and book your stay at the Blue Chip if you are planning on drinking alcohol during the night. We do not want anyone drinking and driving, so please utilize the provided shuttle. If you choose to stay at a different hotel in town from the Blue Chip, the shuttle will not be available. Shuttle times are as follows: 4:15pm - Blue Chip to the venue 4:45pm - Blue Chip to the venue 8:00pm to 11:00pm - periodic trips as needed from the venue to the Blue Chip 11:00pm - LAST shuttle ride back to the Blue Chip. The shuttle has a hard stop and there will be no exceptions for additional rides after the wedding ends at 11:00pm.
Yes, but all vehicles must be picked up by 10:00a.m. on Saturday morning. If you are considering leaving your car, please bring the shuttle to and from the event to avoid the hassle of picking up your car the next day.
Yes, there is complimentary guest parking.
The ceremony & cocktail hour will be outdoors on the patio, and the reception will be indoors. After dinner, the patio will be available again, so please bring a jacket if you plan to spend time outside in the evening.
The ceremony will be assigned seating in the first few rows, and the aisle seats for immediate family members. Otherwise, you may sit wherever you please. For the reception, there will be a seating chart to view when entering.
