Maid of Honor
What can I say, she is my sister but most importantly my best friend. We have been through some tough times but we always seem to land on our feet, together. She is my rock, she is my strength, she is what helps to keep me grounded at times. She may live miles away, but nothing can keep us apart. I cannot imagine having anyone else right by my side on one of the most important days of my life. Love you lil' sis!
Best Man
Sammy and JP got to know each other while playing softball for the US Coast Guard in 2010. It was not too much later when they realized they shared a passion and love for playing golf. Both are big Dallas Cowboys fans (yuck). Sammy has always been a bit jealous of JP's hair (mainly because he can put product in it). JP and his wife Shannon have been there for Sammy when he needed it most; whether it was to listen (as we all know, Sammy can be a bit chatty at times) or give advice. JP has been one of Sammy’s closet friends since his move to Maryland in 2010.
Bridesmaid
I met Ashley through my sister and working together at Watermark Cruises. We built a strong friendship while working long hours on the boats. After "retiring" from the boats, we continued to hangout as much as possible by having weekly, sometimes monthly, dinners together. She has been a part of our family for over 25 years and has been one of the nicest, most honest people I have had the honor of knowing. Thank you for being one of my closest and most dearest friends! Love you Ash!
Groomsman
Sammy and Sean met in 1996 when they were neighbors in Mont Claire Apartments in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. they quickly became friends with an open door policy for their apartments. At that time, Sean was a bartender at Sports and Sammy was a MK3 in the US Coast Guard. They went on many adventures together prior to Sammy transferring to Key West Florida in 1999. Sean has been one Sammy's closest friends over the years, always keeping in touch. Occasionally they will meet for a round of golf in South Carolina when ever they get the chance.
Bridesmaid
I had the pleasure of working with Becca for a couple of years. After I left to work for the Annapolis Boat Shows, we continued to get together as much as possible. There is never a time when we are together when we are not having a good time, goofing off or laughing! She is one of the most caring, loving individuals I have ever known! Thank you for being the bestest of friends a gal could ask for! Love ya Bec!
Groomsman
Sammy met Ty through Sean, who was Sean’s roommate at the Mont Claire apartments. The three had many adventures in the Mount Pleasant/Charleston area together. They have done everything from working bars together, having cookouts, sharing cable, and fishing while Sammy was stationed on the CGC Mohawk in Key West, Florida. Ty has been one of Sammy’s closet friends over the years.
Officiant
Sammy and I knew from the moment he proposed that we wanted Tom to marry us. He has an amazing personality and a presence that can not be forgotten. Tom and his wife Kelly gave Sammy a place to live in their home prior to his departure for to the CGC Adak in Manama Bahrain in the Persian Gulf . Sammy will be always eternally grateful to Tom and Kelly for their friendship as well as what they did for Sammy and his kids. He has been a great friend to Sammy for many years. Sammy met Tom through JP, while playing softball and due to their unique personalities they became great friends.
