Julianne and Daniel met in Oregon on a warm day in May of 2017. Their connection was instant, and they spent the summer getting to know each other and creating memories to last a lifetime. Their first date was in downtown Salem, Oregon, at the Coin Jam arcade bar. The rest of the summer was spent hiking to waterfalls, watching Pittsburgh Penguins games together (they won the Stanley Cup that year), going to the Oregon Coast, exploring Crater Lake, and taking a trip to Seattle. Julianne moved to Alabama for work in August. Daniel and Julianne decided that they did not want to end their relationship and tried long distance for a while. By the grace of God, Daniel received a job opportunity to travel for work which made their long distance relationship much easier. They were able to make frequent trips to see each other over the next 6 months. Eventually, Julianne decided it was time to stop traveling for work and took a permanent position in Atlanta, Georgia. This allowed Daniel and Julianne to move in together and establish an even stronger bond and relationship. During their time in Atlanta, they moved into their first apartment together and adopted two cats. In February 2022, they took their next big step together and moved to Houston, Texas. They bought their first home during the housing Boom and they were able to seal the deal on the first house they put an offer on. The move went seamless, another one of God's works. Julianne and Daniel have been embracing the "Texas vibes": enjoying Texas country music, buying cowboy boots from Cavender's, eating plenty of Tex-Mex, spoiling themselves with frequent beach trips, and taking in the scenery. They are looking forward to getting married in a neighboring city to their home, Magnolia, Texas. They hope to start a family and put down solid roots. Julianne and Daniel’s love story is a testament to the power of love and how it can conquer all obstacles. God's love and guidance has graced them with an abundance of happiness.
