Maid of Honor
Fun Fact: Bella was selected to be my maid of honor because of the significance she has in my life as my older sister. However, she made it pretty clear that she wanted this place in the wedding when I called her and she said: "you better make me your maid of honor or you sure aren't going to be mine." (Don't worry, it was all from the heart(;) either way, I think she has enough funny stories of awkward middle school me to write a pretty great speech!
Best Man
Fun Fact: Alex chose to make Paul his best man as it was something they promised each other when they were younger. However, the best part about having our siblings as maid of honor and best man is the height difference. Bella is only 5"1 while Paul on the other hand is over a foot taller at 6"3. it will be fun seeing them walk together!
Bridesmaid
Fun Fact: Sarah and I met in high school my Junior year. However, it wasn't until the following school year that we really got to know each other. The first time we ever hung out together was actually for an English project where we ended up talking for over 3 hours. Since then, our friendship has grown into something very special to me and I couldn't envision my wedding day without her there.
Groomsman
Fun Fact: I didn't get to know Marcus well until he and Sarah started officially dating when I got home from Florida. Since Alex and Marcus were just as close as Sarah and I, we all began hanging out a lot more and I am excited to see the two of them there to support us and celebrate our wedding day along with Alex and me.
Bridesmaid
Fun Fact: Susana and I met when we moved to Florida for College. We were roommates who quickly became best friends. Susana is the complete opposite of me. quiet, sweet, and incredibly smart. We ended up balancing each other out as I would rant and she would listen. I miss our Sunday morning coffee stops on the way to church and our endless conversations over those two semesters. God knew I needed a Susie in my life.
Groomsman
Fun Fact: Steven and Alex were good friends during their early high school years at Northpointe Christian. Alex gives a lot of the credit to Steven for getting him through those years and they are still good friends to this day.
Bridesmaid
Mary Cate and I met at Reformation Bible College in Sanford Florida. we quickly turned from acquaintances to best friends when we found out how much we had in common. I still remember the countless days writing papers at foxtail coffee and going to the gym before getting smoothies. Some of my favorite memories about Florida are with Mary Cate. We use to joke about the day Alex purposed and how she would be hiding in the bushes to take pictures. I cannot wait to celebrate my wedding day with her!
Groomsman
Gideon and Alex have known each other for quite a while. I still remember Gideon being with Alex the first time we met. It was a homeschool line dance and I picked Alex to dance with. Gideon kept pushing him forward until he decided that I would be an ok enough dance partner.
Bridesmaid
Anj and I met at my job in Florida. She came into the coffee shop a few times prior but it wasn't until her third or fourth time at foxtail that we actually started a conversation. She proofread one of my theology papers and it went from there. Mary Cate, Anj, and I become good friends quickly and were barely ever seen apart. I even stayed with her for a month when Florida went into lockdown. I look forward to seeing her and catching up over the week of my wedding!
Groomsman
Alex and I met Will through our highschool. Everyone actually thought that Will and Alex were long-time friends they clicked so well. Will was always just my boyfriend's best friend until They moved in together. Since He was now Alex's roommate, we started seeing each other a lot more. We've now become good friends and the three of us often end up spending the weekends at their house.
Bridesmaid
Evie and I have always had a very interesting relationship. We were always fighting over something and joking about our other sibling. It wasn't until recently that our once childlike relationship has now began to turn into something so much more meaningful. I am excited to see where the Lord takes us as both sisters and best friends and how he grows her into a woman.
Groomsman
Gabe and I grew up both best friends and worst enemies. I still remember the muddy spring days running around our house barefoot and covered in mud before we started bickering about something and didn't talk to each other the rest of the day. All in all though we had a pretty great childhood together and I will always cherish those memories.
Bridesmaid
Fun Fact: Because I wanted to incorporate family into my wedding, I found it only fitting to include my future sister-in-law into my wedding party. Becca and I first met my senior year of high school when she began attending Libertas. She was put into a group of girls I was leading in devotions and I got to know her better over that school year. I'm looking forward to the many memories to come with the privilege of gaining two more sisters.
Groomsman
Eli is one of Alex's older brothers. They have always been close and are excited to celebrate this exciting day with his brothers as well as the rest of his family!
