First and foremost, we thank you for visiting our wedding page and hope that you have been well and safe. 2020 has been an unexpectedly tough year, therefore we will be making adjustments to how we envisioned our wedding for the safety of our families and guests. We will do our best to communicate them to you and please reach out to us if you have any questions. SOME OF THE BIGGEST CHANGES WILL INCLUDE: downsizing significantly, changing our venue to an outdoor venue, shortening the ceremony/reception, implementing safety precautions, and offering a virtual option. Please note that we wish we could have a bigger and longer celebration to include all our loved ones, but due to the currents times our priority is to put everyone's safety first. We met through Julie's cousins/ Francis' best friends Mike and Leon. Specifically it was the summer after Julie graduated from college and was back home in Sacramento, hanging out with her cousins that Francis took notice of Julie and she of him. Neither of us really talked to each other for awhile, but we both just admired each other from afar. As we started hanging out more there was a clear connection. Then came Coachella April 2016, our bond really grew during that trip and Francis was so sweet enough to wake up at 4am (after having little to no sleep) just so he could make sure Julie got to the airport safely for her flight home. Julie went back to SF and Francis back to Sacramento. Although there was undoubtedly a connection, we both went back to our separate lives, only occasionally connecting due to distance and hesitation. FINALLY in November 2016 Francis came to SF and decided to visit Julie. During this visit we both confessed our feelings. After that our relationship began to grow slowly but surely. We continued to grow to learn about each other, laugh together, travel, and fall more in love with each other with each day. On October 2019 during a trip to NOLA with our friends (and after Francis had also asked for Julie's parents blessings and updated his parents) Francis popped the question and of course Julie said "YES!!" And now we are both excited for a future together full of love and laughter <3
