Chad was visiting Arizona for the first time ever to see his neice at a soccer tournament and to visit with family that he doesn’t get to see often. The last night he was in Arizona he decided to browse the locals on a dating website. All the while Jules (Nika) had just come home from an international trip to London where she had decided that single life and traveling was the path that she wanted to pursue… she also forgot that she had signed up for the previously mentioned dating site. That night, before Chad headed back to California, he decided to message her with the hopes of a late night date! She messaged back letting him know that she was at work, and since she works overnights, wouldnt be able to meet up with him before he left. The night carried on with great conversation and ended with neither one of them thinking it would go too far. The distance was too great to maintain a relationship, especially one where they had not met yet. Chad went back home to California and Jules carried on in Arizona. They continued talking and eventually Chad asked if she would come to his family’s annual Angel game since they shared a love for baseball. She said yes! Little did he know, if it didn’t work out, she would’ve headed straight to Disneyland with her annual pass. Some time passed and Chad thought it may make a big impression and make her feel safer if he came back to Arizona to meet her first. So he did! The first date they shared was to an Angel’s spring training game in Surprise, AZ which is where they currently live! The following months were full of great get to know you conversations and long drives to and from Arizona and California and so many adventures. Little did they know it would be the beginning of the biggest adventure they’ve ever been on.
