Historic Downtown Petaluma
We love Petaluma! Enjoy great boutiques (Splendid Little Shoppe is Jules favorite), antique shops and delicious restaurants like Stockhome, Wild Goat Bistro, Della Frattoria and more. There are great breweries like Lagunitas and Brewsters (where we will have our Welcome Party)! Petaluma is the perfect gateway to more beautiful places like Napa and Sonoma, Sebastopol and The Pt. Reyes National Seashore. In Napa/Sonoma you'll find wineries and adorable downtowns. Be sure to check if you need reservations for your wine tastings! Sebastopol is a fun hippie town with great shops, restaurants, and breweries at the BARLOW. Amazing ramen at Ramen Gaijin, and nearby coastal sights like the Russian River, Armstrong Redwood Forest, and the Jenner Seashore. The Pt Reyes National Seashore is home to rugged coastlines, plentiful hikes, and delicious oysters!
Napa Valley/ Sonoma County
So many Vineyards to be seen and wines to be tasted! A few we've visited and loved include Castello di Amoroso, Chandon, and Caymus. They are all beautiful and magnificent, can't go wrong. Be sure to check if you need a reservation for a tasting.
Marin County
Novato is a quaint little town, with a sweet downtown area. The gem of Novato is Creekside Bakery, who we are lucky enough to have catering our wedding! Between Novato and San Fransisco lies the rest of Marin County with awesome towns like Fairfax, Mill Valley, Tiburon, and Sausalito. You can easily get to Muir Woods redwood forest (reservation required), Mt Tam for epic hikes and Stinson Beach and Bolinas for cute NorCal beach towns.
San Francisco
Just 40 minutes from Novato, San Fransisco is full of highlights. Great Museums, historic neighborhoods, and amazing restaurants! We love the Presidio and Marina areas, Golden Gate Park for free concerts and cool museums like the Academy of Sciences, and North Beach/ Little Italy!
