Question
Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! We will be arranging group travel for guests from these hotels to the venue on wedding day. A trolley or bus will be at each hotel to bring guests to the venue starting at 4:30pm. The last trolley or bus will be at 5:00pm. There will be busses to bring guests back to their hotels or to the after party at the end of the reception, starting at 10:30pm. There will not be transportation from the after party back to the hotels. If you are staying at an AirBNB or any hotel that is not one of the hotels we have a room block at, you will need to arrange your own transportation to the wedding venue. There are ubers and lyfts in the area, or you can make your way to one of the listed hotels to take the provided transportation. Please arrive at Regatta Place no later than 5:15pm.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! We'd like our guests to dress up, think cocktail attire - cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, button downs and slacks. We request that you please do not wear jeans, t-shirts, flip-flops, etc.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We respectfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes! We have room blocks at 3 different hotels. That information along with our discount codes can be found on the Travel page. Local airbnbs are also a great option!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We respectfully ask our guests to please not bring their children, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. We thank you for your understanding!

Where should we eat in Newport?
Answer
Some of our favorite places are Bar Cino (get the pizza!), Diego's (great mexican food, and has vegan + GF menus!), Brick Alley Pub, Hooked, and the Mooring Seafood Kitchen! And obviously Del’s Lemonade 🍋

We’re flying, what’s the best airport to fly into?
Answer
Boston Logan Airport (BOS) is a little over an hour away from Newport, and Providence TF Green (PVD) is about 30 minutes from Newport. Either of these are great options!

I am on the rehearsal sail, where and when is it?
Answer
If you are on the rehearsal sail, it is Thursday at 5:30-7:30pm. It is located at 5 Goat Island Road, Newport RI. Please make sure you are there by 5:15 at the latest! You can also put “Schooner Aurora” in your google maps and find it that way!
