How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

1. You can take the Port Jefferson ferry to Bridgeport CT. Please note those walking on must be responsible for getting to the ceremony and venue on their own. We recommend Uber/Lyft for the fastest and most affordable option. The port is less than a 10 minute drive from both ceremony and reception. 2. Another option for anyone not wanting to take the ferry is to drive. It is about 2 hours for anyone coming from Long Island or New York City

Is there a shuttle ?

We are not providing a shuttle from the ferry or any other location. We strongly recommend that everyone car pool or uber since everything is within 10 minute radius from ferry port.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. We ask that you please plan in advance time travel to be there 15 minutes prior to find a spot and a seat.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

As much as we love and hold dear to our hearts the little ones, due to space, we please ask that no kids come as the only children allowed are from the bridal party or immediate family. Your RSVP will specify.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, unless your personal wedding invitation includes a plus one, we are unable to make any exceptions due to venue spacing policy. Any plus ones that are not on the guest list will be turned away by hostess during check in.

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be fully inside. The attire is semi-formal floral attire. Please no sneakers, jeans or shorts.

Can I walk around the brewery ?

Answer

Even though the brewery will still be opened to the public, we ask that everyone stay in our private wedding reception area to enjoy this special night with us and the rest of our guests. Everything you need will be provided.

Where do I park?

Answer

Foolproof has a parking lot directly across the street. Please look out for the signs that specify Foolproof Brewery parking only.

Can I take pictures ?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means we kindly ask that everyone keep their phones and cameras away during the ceremony only, so we all can all be fully present to keep a clear view for our photographer and videographers. Once the 15 minute ceremony concludes, feel free to take as many pics as you’d like. We do also ask to please keep any photos you may take offline until we share some first 😊
