We are Will and Julianna! For those who don't know our story, pull up a chair. We met last year, in the month of May, by matching on a Christian dating app. Neither of us had much expectation of success in using an app to find a spouse, but through algorithmic happenstance (divine providence!), we matched and started messaging. After only a few days, we discovered that we were both from Colorado Springs, and we both knew a ton of the same people. With our doubts eased by knowledge of common friends and acquaintances, and the ice broken, we quickly scheduled a first date. We met in person at Wayfinder Coffee, and the conversation flowed like tea, which is what we actually drank. After several hours talking and a walk in the park, we parted with a second date planned for the next day. Will hadn't prepared to be out of town for more than an afternoon, so he promptly went to Old Navy and bought a second date outfit. The dates continued and went better than either of us had hoped. On June 24th 2023, we began dating in earnest. It soon became obvious that we were dating with the intent to marry.
