We're Engaged!

Our wedding plans are a bit unconventional – we're planning an engagement party for all our cherished friends and family, and then we'll be eloping privately for our wedding day in December 2024. Having you join us during our engagement celebration is incredibly meaningful to us. For our wedding, we want it to be an intimate and deeply personal experience.

When I first saw Julian on Bumble, I thought, "Wow, he's cute, and his dog is adorable!" It was a no-brainer; I had to swipe right. Turns out, he felt the same and matched with me that very day. But here's the thing about Bumble – I had to make the first move. So, nervously, I sent him a simple "Hey! :)" message. I had no clue what else to say! Sadly, Julian didn't reply, and our match disappeared into the digital abyss. Luckily, though, Julian wasn't willing to let me slip away that easily. He found me on Instagram and, despite my clumsy first attempt, we got talking. He eventually asked me out on a date, and here's where the funny part comes in – I ended up being 45 minutes late. You see, life got in the way – work stuff and a delayed flight. I felt terrible, but I kept Julian in the loop, texting him every five minutes to let him know I was on my way. I finally arrived at Earls in Dadeland, and that's when our real adventure together began. Our first date was a blast, and from that day forward, we were inseparable. We shared laughter, happiness, and all the ups and downs that life threw our way. It felt like we were meant to be. And now, as we take this big step forward, I can't help but look back at how fate intervened to bring us together – a right swipe, a late date, and a whole lot of love. I'm so grateful for every twist and turn that led us to this moment. So, friends and family, we invite you to join us as we start this new chapter together. Among all the wonderful moments we've shared, one date stands out as the most memorable - our first Miami Heat game together. At that time, Julian and I had been seeing each other for a few months, and our connection was growing stronger each day. It was a pivotal day - I, an ex flight attendant, had an unexpected last-minute call to work a flight to Milan, Italy, exactly when Julian surprised us with amazing Heat tickets. But in that moment, I knew where my heart truly belonged. I made a decision from my heart and called in sick, choosing to stay with Julian in Miami to see the game. At the game, we wore matching Heat shirts that Julian got for us, and I decided to add to the fun by treating us to a few rounds of beers. As we laughed, cheered, and enjoyed the game together, it became clear that we had found something truly special. That day marked a turning point in our relationship, the moment when we both knew that we had found "the one." Now, as an engaged couple, we carry with us the cherished memories of that unforgettable Heat game.
