Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to start at 5 PM with the reception following. The wedding will be held behind the home outside. The area is likely to be sunny (hopefully) and the grounds are cement with some grassy areas. The reception will be held outside in front of the barn. The area is pebble, dirt and some grass and it could be cool as the evening progresses.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered and the information is on our website under registry. We have combined our two homes and have plenty of general home items but we have listed a few items as well as options for cash donations to our honeymoon or future home purchase fund.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding and reception dress code is Cocktail Attire. The rehearsal dinner is Smart Casual. All events will be held outdoors.

If you still need to book the Marriott will honor the reduced rate for the two night wedding block. Please find the link under travel from the home page of out website,

Answer

Yes, PLEASE text or call 562 208-1047 (Susan Laffiche) if you have any food allergies or restrictions.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

It is a gated community. There is VERY limited parking and shuttles will be provided. Shuttles will be departing and dropping off at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott. Shuttles will start at 4 PM and returns will start approximately 9:30 PM. Uber or Lyft are also options, the gate at the entrance to the property should be open.

Rehearsal Dinner (6-9pm) Information for those attending- Rehearsal call time 3PM

Answer

Rehearsal for those in the wedding is 3 PM. For plus one's of the wedding party you are welcome to come early. The rehearsal dinner will be from 6-9 PM. For those staying at the Marriott or within walking distance to the Marriott, friends of the family have offered to shuttle as best they can in their own van/cars/golf cart to the home. Jona & Kirk Howe are available to shuttle- call or text 562 761-1623 or 562 761-1624 to arrange. :) There will be some parking available at the house, please try to car pool if you can. A gate code is needed to enter, please text or call Paul or Susan (Julian's step-dad & mom) and one of us can text you the code. P 562 212-2403 S 562 208-1047 UBER and Lyft are options well. There will be some limited parking available on site with preference coming to those in groups. Thank you for your understanding.

what else can we do around the Buellton area ?

Answer

There are plenty of good wineries and restaurants around the area. Bread Board deli has excellent sandwiches as well as other options. Vega Vineyards and Sunstone Winery are always good, especially Vega Vineyards, they have a great outdoor space often with music and they have lots of animals on site. Charming Solvang is just a short drive away and has plenty of restaurants and shops.
