We're so excited to celebrate with all of you!

Okay, most of you reading this know this story well, but I will do my best to add a little flare to a story told one too many times. My dad, Mike Ulrich, was a Streamwood native, a born and bred kinda guy. He lived on Country Lane for most of his childhood, it was there he met Frank, Brian, Steve, and Tony Capaci. Needless to say these boys became fast friends and the rest is well as they say history. Julian's dad, Tony Capaci, was one of these boys on the other side of the park on Berkely. He was the youngest of four, a class clown, and a tempo God. They grew up together, hung out together, and became brothers. Skip forward some more and our dads spent their vacations tormenting their wives and drinking their way through Florida, Disney, and all over Mexico. At this point each of these men had real life responsibilities, ie CHILDREN. Now two of these kids were myself and Julian. I was tormented and picked on by Julian and his brother for the better part of my childhood. Now, the man that orchestrated this torture was Tony himself. For as long as I can remember, Tony told his boys to, "go sniff around her" and also notified me that I would be "marrying a Capaci" He made sure I knew he had three boys and I had my pick. This obviously was the furthest thing on my mind and the topic that brought the most tears on the way home. My dad always made sure I knew that I could marry anyone I wanted and for a long time I believed him. That is until July 3rd 2020. When Julian walked onto our front steps I knew that his dad was right and I was bound and determined to make him mine. Shortly after this weekend my dads conversations changed, they started to sound a lot like, "wouldn't an Ulrich/Capaci wedding be insane?" "it would be a Streamwood reunion if you and Jules get married" it was then that I knew that my dad had decided that Julian was my guy. So since our dad's agreed and are watching over us drinking Jäger. We figured hell, why not?
