Travel Note
Peoria International Airport is just outside of town and a quick Uber or Lyft away from downtown. Please consider price differences for direct flights to Chicago and a rental car to drive 3 hours down to Peoria--sometimes that price is even lower than connecting flights to PIA without a rental!

Our favorite restaurants and bars: Blue Duck Barbeque: Their potato salad is like no other. Stop next door afterwards for a #MartiniWithTwoOllivierres! Thyme: Kristin's favorite place, featuring a whiskey wall and interesting menu. Rhythm Kitchen: Just like Bourbon street, just further north. Cyd's in the Park: A cute hidden spot in Donovan Park. Obed & Isaac's: A brewery in a church! We love this place, both indoors and out--check out the bocce ball court. Childer's: A few locations throughout the city, great for Brunch. Ulrich's Rebellion Room: One of our many Irish haunts; great for late night greasy grub. Kenny's Westside: Another Irish favorite! Casa de Arte: Tacos and art. 2 Chez: Two words-smoked Manhattan. Fox Pub and Cafe: British spot for those who like "real" football.

Peoria was the whiskey capital of the world leading up to Prohibition. The brick buildings that housed each barrel and speakeasy still line each street downtown leading you up to our ceremony location. Peoria's history inspired the theme of our wedding! #MartiniWithTwoOllivierres
