Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Walnut Grove General Baptist Church in Ava, Missouri. The church is located five miles outside of Ava and seven miles down A HWY headed towards Rome, MO. (There are no official addresses outside of Ava city limits so we will have ample signage to direct you.)

How far is Ava from Springfield or Branson?

Ava is about an hour drive from Springfield or Branson.

Where is the closest airport?

Answer

The closest airports to Ava are Springfield (SFG) or Branson (BKG). We recommend staying in either of these cities as well, but Springfield would be preferred.

Where should we stay?

Answer

You are more than welcome to stay anywhere in SW Missouri! We recommend staying in Springfield or Branson depending on where you are flying in and out from.

Will food be provided?

Answer

We will be providing a light desert bar as well as cake and beverages. We recommend having lunch before the event.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding dress code is Sunday casual. Guys can wear a button down shirt or a polo with slacks or jeans and ladies can wear a simple dress or a top and skirt. The wedding will be midday so nothing too formal (wear what you would wear to church on Sunday).

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

The weather in Southwest Missouri is unpredictable, but as of now the weekend of July 25th is forecasted as highs of 88 degrees and a lows of 65 degrees.

Is the wedding Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

As of now the plan is to have the wedding outdoors, but have an indoor plan if the weather is not optimal for outdoors.
