Things To Do

Sheridan sits on the banks of the Ruby River in the heart of the Ruby Valley. There are seven mountain ranges that surround this spectacular Valley: The Tobacco Roots, Highlands, McCartneys, Pioneer, Ruby, Gravelly, and Snowcrest Mountains. If you're into hiking and an outdoor experience, these mountains are calling you. In addition to the plentiful outdoor activities, Sheridan is a few miles away from historic Nevada/Virginia City and Ennis. If you have extra time and are willing to travel a little farther, Yellowstone National Park is highly recommended.

Ennis

Spend a little time in Ennis where you'll discover why anglers, cowboys, and mountain enthusiasts travel to Ennis. This could be a fun little day trip or when you're on your way to Yellowstone National Park. A stroll down the main street and you'll find western art, sculptures, brewery, distillers, and saloons.

For all the days along the way
