To keep the evening relaxed and give our guests a true night out, our wedding will be adults-only except for children of the couple's immediate family. Only families whose invitations were addressed as "The --- Family" should bring them if they’d like. Thank you for helping us make the day special for everyone. We're excited to party with you!
Our wedding dress code is formal. For women, this means a long evening gown or formal pant suit, and for men, a suit and tie are appropriate. Please avoid any whites or creams. The DYC has a strict dress code requiring coat and tie for men and dresses/pantsuit for women and they will be enforcing this during the wedding.
Yes! There is an onsite parking lot. When arriving on Belle Isle, pass through the park gate on the left (park pass lane) and once you arrive to the venue, a gate keeper will ask for all guests names. If you do not RSVP, your name will not be on the list and you will not have access to the venue/parking lot.
On Friday, the 25th, for anyone in the area, local or traveling, we will be hosting a welcome BBQ. Feel free to join us for food, drinks, and yard games so everyone can have a chance to meet! More details to come. We will have a rehearsal the day before for the wedding party and immediate family. For those flying in, we recommend coming in the Thursday or Friday prior to the wedding to take advantage of all the fun activities Detroit has to offer!
