Things To Do

St. Patrick's Day Parade

St. Patrick's Day Parade

If you're feeling brave, take a venture downtown the morning of our wedding for the St. Patty's parade. Or if you'd rather not deal with those shenanigans, take this as a notice to stay as far away from directly downtown as possible that morning.

Monongahela or Duquesne Incline

Monongahela or Duquesne Incline

Pittsburgh, PA

A Pittsburgh must do. There are 2 inclines but in our opinion the Monongahela is the better because it has more to do at the top and bottom! (Station square at the bottom, Shiloh street at the top.) They say the Duquesne has better views but we think they're both pretty awesome.

Children's Museum of Pittsburgh

Children's Museum of Pittsburgh

10 Children's Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

For our out of town family coming with kids, we have a great children's museum just a couple of miles from the hotels we listed. Note: there IS a water floor here so either bring some bathing suits or "accidentally" skip that floor :)

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

1 Schenley Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

We love this place!! This is less than a mile away and definitely walkable from the hotels! Fun fact: this is where Julian had PLANNED on proposing to Christina but she ended up being nosey and finding out, resulting in a change of plans.

For all the days along the way
