It's no secret that we love the Cape. What you may not know is that Evan and I both grew up going to the Centerville / Osterville areas on Cape Cod! From buying candy at the Country Store, swimming at Dowses Beach, and getting ice cream at Four Seas, our childhood summers were almost one in the same. What were the chances this Midwest boy that I met (during 2nd semester of senior year) had the same Cape Cod childhood that I did? Fast forward to today - Evan's family still has their house in Osterville, and my grandparents still have their house in Centerville. Just 5 minutes apart. The church we've chosen to get married at, Our Lady of Victory, is in between these two houses and just a 3 minute walk to my grandparents' house. It's so special that we can get married in a town that means so much to both of us. In the past few years, the Cape has also allowed our families to get to know each other. With Evan's parents living in Chicago and my parents living in Falmouth, the connection through the Cape has truly been a blessing. We're so grateful our families have prioritized getting to know each other, and for how easy the Cape has made this. We're so excited to be able to get married here and to celebrate with all of our loved ones in our favorite place! See you in September!!!
