Formal Garden Attire for a Wedding We encourage our guests to wear elegant, and fun prints and colors. Opt for soft, flowing fabrics, airy hues such as pastels, blush, or soft floral prints. We are getting married in a small but beautiful outdoor setting, we ask that our guests dress in a Garden Formal attire. An elevated outdoor vibe while still comfortable for the late summer evenings. A tailored suit, ideally in light shades like charcoal, navy, or soft grey to complement the outdoor setting, or dress pants with a blazer. For shoes go for dress shoes or loafers. Ties are cute, but not required. Dresses (midi or long) in vibrant colors, and florals. Jumpsuits or dressy two piece sets. For shoes wedges, block heels, or cute flats- Grass friendly please! Keep accessories elegant and refined, with subtlety being key. Think classic, understated pieces that complement the natural surroundings. Embrace soft, romantic tones and breathable fabrics that are ideal for an outdoor setting. Avoid overly casual attire or bold prints that may clash with the natural beauty of the garden. As long as you can dance in it, it will be good for us!
Our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors in the late summer in Northern Alabama. This means that weather is at out of our control. We will have a tent set up for shade and an indoor bathroom will be available.
We would absolutely love to see the little ones! However, please note that during the reception, adult music will be played and alcohol will be served. We kindly ask that you keep this in mind when deciding whether to bring your child.
We kindly ask that our ceremony be cellphone-free. This is to honor the atmosphere of the moment and to show respect for our highly trained photographer, who will be capturing all the special memories. We also ask that little ones refrain from using devices during the ceremony. Thank you for helping us create a truly meaningful and distraction-free experience.
