In August, Sicily is hot and sunny, ideal for relaxing on the beautiful beaches, swimming in the clear blue seas or exploring the island further inland. It’s the height of the season at this time of year, so resorts will be at their busiest in August. With such high temperatures during the day, you’ll need to stay safe by seeking shade between 11am and 3pm, wearing plenty of sun cream and staying well hydrated.
