Travel Note

Direct train service from NYC to Berkshires

Amtrak has announced a pilot seasonal passenger rail service to operate this year and in 2023 to be known as the Berkshire Flyer, with a route between New York City and Pittsfield, MA. The service will be start on July 8 (just in time for our wedding!). The Berkshire Flyer will include a Friday afternoon departure from New York’s Penn Station to Pittsfield, MA (departing NYC at 3:15 and arriving to the Berkshires at 7:15pm). A return trip will be provided on Sunday afternoons. Of note, the Pittsfield, MA train station is a quick taxi ride away from both the Seven Hills Inn and the Hilton Garden. You can book a ticket online beginning in May.

Albany International Airport

The closest airport to Lenox is Albany international. While 45 miles from the Mount, this is a good option for guests traveling longer distances. We love you for traveling to celebrate with us!

Travel Note

Car or Bus

From New York City it is about a 3 hour drive to the Berkshires. Driving is the easiest and most direct way to travel. For NYC guests there is also a Peter Pan bus route that drops passengers in Pittsfield, MA.
