If you know Julia and Zan, you know they have a dog named Myers who is their pride and joy. Myers was scheduled for a board and train session in January 2021, so they decided to take advantage of the dog-free weekend and take a trip to Primland. They arrived mid-afternoon and took their time settling in and wandering around the grounds. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and Zan said he read online that the library in the lodge was a great spot to watch sunsets, so they headed up there. The library is small and when they walked in, there was a photographer taking photos of the room. Julia thought he was a photographer for a travel magazine and they shouldn't interrupt him, but Zan didn't seem to notice him. As they walked over to the windows, Zan leaned over and said, "So I've been thinking about something..." Julia thought he was going to say he wanted to change their dinner reservation, but instead, he pulled a ring out of his pocket, got down on one knee and asked Julia to marry him. Julia was completely surprised and when she finally realized what Zan had asked, she screamed "yes!" Julia heard a clicking noise and looked over to see the photographer was taking pictures of them the whole time. Zan had set up an engagement shoot with the photographer immediately following the proposal and they are photos they will treasure forever.
