Even though they both went to St. Norbert College at the same time, Zach and Julia didn't formally meet each other until December 2021. Like her two older sisters, Julia found Zach on the same faith-based dating site. Zach messaged Julia, making the college connection, and eventually asked her to coffee at Luna, followed by a walk around their old college campus where they could reminisce. In time, they found out how close they actually had come to meeting, but like they say, timing is everything! It may have been cold that winter day, but there was something warm about the meeting that they kept meeting until Zach asked Julia to be his girlfriend at the Maritime Museum the day before Christmas Eve. Zach proposed at that very place just over a year later, and are excited to celebrate the start of their married lives with the people that mean so much to them!
