Truly the quintessential Boston activity. Follow the red brick road that leads from the Boston Commons to the Bunker Hill Monument past 16 aggressively historic sites. This might be our favorite brewery in Boston. Great location and excellent beer. Good indoor and outdoor areas to grab a drink!

Castle Island

Castle Island

Boston, MA 02127

A beautiful walk to see the water and also get a view of the harbor islands. There is a fort that you can visit if you plan ahead. Mostly we just go there to get outdoors and smell the briny sea air.

Who doesn't love trees!? Well worth the ride on the T (take the orange line) for a walk to see all the beautiful landscaping and a wide variety of trees and gardens. Bonus points if you bring Ginger's (Mother of the groom) book for a handy guide.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

25 Evans Way, Boston, MA 02115

This quirky museum is worth the visit. It is full of eclectic art that Ms. Gardner collected and placed in her home/museum. You can see anything from a renaissance masterpiece to an exquisite porcelain vase from China all in the same room. Also can see the empty frames of the art that was stolen in 1990! (One of the largest art thefts in history; recommend the short Netflix show called "this is a robbery" on this as well)

New England Aquarium

SO MANY PENGUINS! Also you can walk around the outside and see seals and sea lions for free.

USS Constitution - Actual Vessel

It's over 200 years old and still in ship shape! No rust on these Ironsides. Sorry about that. But not sorry enough to change it.

HUZZAH!! It is touristy (and hokey) but still very fun to learn about the history of Boston. They give you role cards and have you play along. Also a lovely tea house on the top level of the museum.
