Julia and TG met at Clemson University their freshman year. With Julia being from California, and TG being from the South Carolina, they didn't seem very similar from the surface. When Kate, now a bridesmaid, heard that Julia was going to a function that she knew TG was attending, she told Julia to say hi to him. A few jokes about how different they grew up and a "follow" on Instagram later, Julia and TG found their differences interesting. They kept seeing each other around campus, at Greek life functions, philanthropy events, and out and about. In the Fall of 2021, they were planning on being each other's dates to their upcoming functions, but Julia had to quarantine for COVID. Julia luckily was released the day her parents arrived for Parents weekend. That week, TG called and asked Julia if he could meet her parents since he knew they lived across the country and chased the opportunity. On October 29th of 2021, TG realized that he wanted Julia to be his wife but knew asking her to be his girlfriend was the best next step. Fast forward through the memorable years at Clemson, TG and Julia decided to do long distance after they graduated. After Julia and TG's family graduation party, TG snuck off to ask Julia's Dad and Grandpa an important question. Then, TG stayed in South Carolina and Julia moved to Texas, and it stayed that way for a year and 4 months after graduating. They made a commitment to see each other every 4-6 weeks, and they gained a lot of airline loyalty miles. Months after TG proposed and after lots of prayer, he made the decision to leave his home state and move to Texas so they could be together. Which brings us to today and the rest of the story is unwritten!
