Where is the ceremony/reception?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be held at Pinecrest Northwoods in Republic, Michigan. Pinecrest Northwoods is a wilderness retreat with over 100 acres of trails, an authentic Finnish sauna, and access to the Michigamme River and Juncob Lake. During the summer you can enjoy boating, fishing, hiking and most other outdoor activities. The bride, groom, and immediate family will be staying at Pinecrest all weekend. All guests are welcome to take advantage of the camp at any time during the weekend, as we will have the property to ourselves.

What is the dress code? What is garden party attire?
Answer
Dress in your best outdoor-friendly semi formalwear. The garden party dress code is fairly loose, so you can experiment with color, patterns, frills and statement silhouettes to match the season and surroundings. As the ceremony and dinner are outside, opt for outfits and accessories that are comfortable and practical, but keep your look classy. Don't forget your sunglasses!

What should I pack?
Answer
Pack for a rustic adventure filled weekend. Bring all the camp essentials including a flashlight, bug spray, hammock & a camp chair. Make sure to bring a swimsuit and a towel so you can enjoy the beach and the sauna as well. We are expecting the nights to be chilly so make sure to pack some cool weather clothes as well as rain gear in case the weather doesn't cooperate.

Is there a grocery store or restaurant near Pinecrest Northwoods?
Answer
It's a 20-25 minute drive from Pinecrest to grocery stores and multiple restaurants. There’s a little diner in Republic about 10 minutes from camp but no grocery.

Can I bring a date (plus one) to your wedding?
Answer
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can't afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
