Short Version: We met at a pool in Nashville and hit it off instantly! After chatting for an hour, Julia gave her number to Shane and the rest was history. Long CUTE Version: Shane was on a Bachelor Party for his good friend Austen in Nashville. One of the guys in the group lived at an apartment that had a pool. The group decided to spend the afternoon at the pool. Julia's good friend Jordan had her Engagement Celebration Party the same day and lived at this same apartment with the pool. A few of Julia's friends convinced her to go outside to the pool and so she did. Shane noticed Julia and her friends. He decided to ask Julia's friend Jules if Julia was single. Jules was ecstatic and told Shane to go talk to Julia. And so he did! Julia didn't think much would come from their interaction considering Shane lived in Hawaii and she lived in Nashville, but she enjoyed his company anyway. Shane asked for Julia's number and since they were in the pool, he had to play a memorization game to hopefully not forget it. Shortly later, Julia had to leave since she worked at 5am the next day. When Julia arrived home later that evening, she had a text from Shane and she was surprised he actually remembered her number correctly and Shane was surprised Julia gave him the correct number! After a few weeks of texts and facetiming, Shane visited Julia over a long weekend and since then they've been inseparable!
