What is the address of the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both being held at Brittland Manor. The address is 211 Britland Farm Ln, Chestertown, MD 21620.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our celebration will be cocktail attire. For women, this could be a cocktail dress, midi dress, or floor length. For men, a suit and dress shirt is perfect—ties are welcome but not required. Ladies, please keep in mind the ceremony is on grass, so we recommend block heels or flats.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be child-free. Thank you for understanding!

Am I allowed to take photos at your ceremony?

Answer

This will be an "unplugged" ceremony. We have an incredible team of photographers that will be capturing every moment, so we'd love if your phones remain off during the ceremony.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of on-site parking but we will also be providing shuttles to and from hotels.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Please plan on the entire event being outdoors. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on grass and the reception will be on a brick patio under a tent.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

We will accommodate you! We’ll be sure to ask for this information on the invitation.

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to immediate family and those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We will see you at the Welcome Party directly after!

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

Early October in Chestertown is usually mild fall weather, around 60–70°F during the day and cooler in the evening. Our venue is on the water so there may be a slight breeze—we recommend a light layer for later in the night!
