& Best Man An apropos tagline for Scott's older brother is 'like a rolling stone'. That also happened to be his Instagram bio for several years. Gene loaded up an old Cadillac a decade ago and headed west where he settled in the outdoor adventure town of Park City, Utah where he has built a career in real estate. Gene has notoriously surprised Scott at important events in his life including showing up unannounced at a terminal in Las Vegas for his birthday and a rooftop party at 865 #lifeatthetop. From the early days at Paul Vi, Scott has tried to live up to the high expectations of being GLB (Gene's little brother).
Michael Morrello
Best Man
If you see Scott, chances are his younger brother Michael is close by his side. The two peas in a pod (you're welcome Mom) have been physically inseparable since they were kids dressed up as power rangers (Michael was pink ranger). Whether it's a dorm room floor at JMU, bunk bed at Dewey beach or a shared wall in Clarendon, (now neighbors in Old Town Alexandria) Michael has been a part of every important event in Scott's life (including a short stint as Julia's roommate). Michael's appreciation for design and fashion have led him to a successful career in real estate. PS: its Michael not Mice.

Julia and Emily met in 3rd grade and Emily fondly remembers Julia as the girl who wore the same pair of orange pants almost every day (yikes). Most people will remember them as being inseparable ever since (though Julia inexplicably has Emily scratched out in her 4th grade year book - neither can remember why). If you're looking for the ultimate hype girl and life of the party look no further than Emily. Oh, and don't forget to wish her a happy 30th birthday as she's kindly sharing her special day with Scott and Julia.
Phoebe Millard

Julia and Phoebe bonded their first night at JMU and Julia quickly became Phoebe's unofficial 3rd roommate freshman year, bunking on the floor of her small dorm room on the quad and watching reruns of SVU for hours. From tagging along on Phoebe's family vacations to spring break trips in college, followed by countless nights spent drinking wine and talking about life post-grad, they do everything together. Which is why they also ended up marrying two guys who are also best friends.

Christy is formally known as the best Morrello sibling (and Scott's favorite sister). Though she may be the youngest of them all, she's the smartest, best dressed and most well-traveled. Julia for her part always imagined that if she ever had a sister, she'd want her to be exactly like Christy.
Robert Germain

Julia's favorite brother. He'll likely have more than a few stories to share about their years growing up together, but don't believe them all. Scott feels fortunate to have Rob as a brother- the two have spent countless hours playing chess, discussing stock splits, and shouting about whatever the current geopolitical issue of the day is.
Kristy Leahong

Kristy wasn't sure about Julia when they met at their sorority's bid-night due to a weird message sent from her friend (shoutout to Michael O'Donnell) on 'Find My Roommate', but Julia quickly won her over. Kristy introduced Julia to EDM and they spent most of their post-college years living together and attending concerts in Washington D.C. Today, they spend more time gchatting each other than actually working.
Matt Johnson
Groomsman
Matt is one of Scott's oldest and truest of friends. They met in the 5th grade and fostered a fast friendship centered around sports and 6th grade girls. Their friendship has blossomed over the years to topics more suitable for adults including the financial markets, easements, and eminent domain (yuck). They have shared trips to the desert in MOAB, beach getaways, and adventures to the Popeyes in Brooklyn. Scott appreciates Matt's pragmatic and thoughtful approach to life-- who would have thought an attorney would be so logical?
Molly Mobley
Bridesmaid
Molly is Darian Germain's "number one pick for the zombie apocalypse." The bride is not entirely sure why her mother says this but guesses its due to the fact that Molly is a highly-skilled nurse who learned many survival skills growing up on a farm. Julia loves Molly for these reasons but also because she's a fantastic friend and they share a deep love of mozzarella cheese.
Mark Millard

That married best friend mentioned in Phoebe's bio? Yeah, that's Mark. Mark and Scott met the first day freshman year of high school when their Earth Science teacher sat them next to each other. Scott doesn't remember learning much from that class. Scott and Mark's friendship continued on to JMU where they joined Sigma Chi together. Many great memories shared at Dewey and carousing around northern Virginia. Highlights include camping at SML and trip to Alabama where they ran out of money at a gas station in Tennessee. Life Hack: convince your best friends to get married to each other.
Annie Tuzzio

Julia and Annie share a lot in common, including being in the same sorority, Tri Sigma, at JMU, having birthdays that occasionally fall on Friday 13th and a love of cats. These days, the two enjoy catching a happy hour in old town or move nights at each others townhouses in Old Town Alexandria (it doesn't hurt that they live two blocks apart). Oh and Annie also dates the bride's brother.
Jay Dertzbaugh

One of two of Scott's groomsmen who is out on the left coast. Jay currently resides in San Diego, where he can usually be found holding a fish he recently caught, surfing, or prepping for a free drive. Jay and Scott built a friendship off the shores of the northern most beach in Delaware. They enjoy discussing markets, financial planning strategies and real estate.
Josh Reid

The only bridesman and one of Julia's dearest friends. Don't worry about introducing yourself to Josh - he'll introduce himself to you. Catch him breaking it down on the dancefloor and please make sure he doesn't request "Crazy in Love" by Beyoncé more than three times.
John Pham
Groomsman
John has been a recurring character in Scott's life from freshman year of high school. John is the go to person for the social plans of the evening, and he's quick on the trigger with a witty remark. Scott and John have shared many a night in Arlington and DC usually resulting in John cuddling up on the couch.
Sky Powell
Groomsman
Sky is the longest room mate Scott ever had- a total of 4 years (including a short stint in Scott's parent's basement). Another friend from the west coast, Sky currently lives in LA. Scott and Sky lived together at JMU, Georgetown, and Dewey Beach. Great memories include mambo wings and bike rides by the capital and nights at 18th st lounge.
